Ann Marie Radford received her bachelor’s degree in nursing in 1998 from Samuel Merritt/St Mary’s Intercollegiate Nursing Program, along with a Public Health Nurse Certificate. She has been trained as a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner and Drug Recognition Evaluator (DRE) through the California Highway Patrol. In 2010 she attended Samuel Merritt University for Family Nurse Practitioner and received her master’s degree in nursing which is a comprehensive program that includes newborn babies to the geriatric population. Currently she is working as a Family Nurse Practitioner at the Mark Twain Medical Center Clinics and maintains her membership in the California Association of Nurse Practitioners. Ms. Radford is a primary care provider with emphasis on adolescent health and eating disorder patients. She has worked in the Valley Care Health Systems as an emergency room nurse and medical surgical nurse. She was also the human Services Commissioner for the City of Pleasanton from 2002 -2004. Part of her training and ability is to work with numerous non-profit agencies that provide food, shelter and medical resources for community members. Ms. Radford provided ten years of service to the City of Pleasanton, Police Department as a “911” police and fire dispatcher and has sat on the Emergency Medical Services oversight committee for approximately six years in Calaveras County.
