Johanna is a Registered Nurse specializing in Critical Care and Emergency Nursing. She has provided healthcare to Calaveras County residents for over 37 years and has recently retired. Johanna was appointed to the Board in June 2022. Johanna has had many exciting nursing opportunities including the implementation of the Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation programs at Mark Twain Medical Center in 1986. She has also served as Manager of the ICU and the Emergency Departments. Johanna's background in HealthCare and the nursing leadership roles she has held motivated her to apply to the Mark Twain HealthCare District Board to contribute to the Boards mission of providing high quality healthcare for our Calaveras County residents. Johanna has been a Calaveras County resident since 1983. She enjoys outdoor sports and traveling with her family.
