A 35-year Calaveras County resident, Talibah has enjoyed a rich career as business owner and leader. She joined Calaveras Unified School District in 2020 as Chief Business Officer. She has an extensive background in finance strategic planning, project management, contract negotiating, medical underwriting, claims settlement and mental health counseling. She has many years of experience working in the nonprofit sector promoting and advancing services, programs and governance that help build and support our community. Talibah’s business background and history of volunteering will serve the Healthcare District in bringing together visionary partners and voices to promote and maintain needed projects and services. She is a Board Member of the 39th District Agricultural Association, appointed by California Governors, and Past president of Calaveras County Chamber of Commerce.
